SLEEVES
Using 5.5mm needles and with yarn B 4 double, cast on 36[40:40:44:44:48] sts.
Work 22 rows in cable patt as given for fi rst size on back.
Break off B.
Join in A.
Next row: P4[6:4:7:5:7], (inc purlways in next st) 28[28:32:30:34:34] times, p to end. 64[68:72:74:78:82] sts.
Change to st st and beg k row work straight until sleeve meas 38cm (15in) from beg, ending after a p row.
Shape raglan
Work Rows 1 to 6 as for back.Rep Rows 3 to 6 until 42[48:52:54:60:64] sts rem, ending after Row 6.
Now rep Rows 3 and 4 only until 4[4:6:6:6:6] sts rem, ending after Row 4.Cast off.
COLLAR
Using 5mm needles and A, cast on 84[89:94:94:99:104] sts.Row 1 (RS): K3, (p1, k1, p1, k2) to last st, k1.
Row 2: K1, p2, (k1, p1, k1, p2) to last st, k1.Rep these 2 rows until collar meas 16cm
(6.5in) from beg.

Shape neck edge
Keeping rib correct cast off 5 sts at beg of next 6 rows, then 7 sts at beg of next 4 rows.Cast off rem sts.
BORDERS
Using 5mm needles and A, cast on 11 sts.Row 1 (RS): K3, (p1, k1) twice, p1, k3.Row 2: K1, p2, (k1, p1) twice, k1, p2, k1.
Rep these 2 rows until border fi ts up left front edge, allowing for border to be slightly stretched,
Cast off in rib.
Mark position on border for 5 buttons, fi rst to be level with start of waist cable patt, last to be in 5th/6th rows from top edge, and rem 3 spaced evenly between.Work second border as fi rst working holes to match markers thus:
Row 1 (RS): Rib 4, cast off 4 sts, rib to end.Row 2: In rib cast on 4 sts neatly over those cast off.

TO FINISH OFF
Join raglan shapings, side and sleeve seams. Sew on borders. Stitch cast-off edge of collar fi rmly to neck edge between centre of borders.
Sew on buttons. ●
