TENSION
14 sts and 20 rows to measure 10x10cm (4x4in) over st st using

HEART JUMPER
Note This oversized jumper is knitted in st st with a heart motif which is knitted separately and sewn onto the jumper.
BACK
Cast on 74 (82: 90: 98: 106: 114: 122: 130) sts using 5.5mm needles
and Yarn A.

NECKBAND
With RS tog, join the Front to the Back at the right shoulder, using three-needle cast off, or by casting off the shoulder stitches separately and sewing the shoulders together. With the right side facing and starting at the left shoulder, using 5.5mm needles and Yarn A, pick up and knit 13 (13: 15: 15: 17: 16: 17:18) sts down left front neck, knit across the 10 (12: 12: 14: 14: 14: 16:16) sts left for the centre front, pick up and knit 13 (13: 15: 15: 17: 16:17: 18) sts up the right front neck, pick up and knit 8 sts down the right back neck, knit across the 24 (26: 26: 28: 28: 30: 30: 32) sts left on a holder for the centre back neck, pick up and knit 8 sts up the left back neck. Row 1 (WS) *K1, P1; rep from * to end.
Rows 2 to 7 Work another 6 rows in 1×1 rib.
Cast off in rib.
SLEEVES (MAKE 2)
Cast on 32 (32: 34: 36: 38: 38: 42: 44) sts using 5.5mm needles and Yarn A.
Row 1 (RS) *K1, P1; rep from * to end.
Rows 2 to 10 Work another 9 rows in 1×1 rib as set by Row 1.

HEART
Cast on 2 sts using 5.5mm needles and Yarn B.
Row 1 (RS) Kfb, K1. [3 sts]
Row 2 Kfb, knit to the end of the row. [4 sts]
Repeat Row 2 until there are 40 sts on the needle.
Knit 2 rows without shaping
Next row As Row 2. [41 sts]
Next row As Row 2. [42 sts]
Knit 6 rows without shaping.
Next row K19, k2tog; turn and work on these sts only. [20 sts]
Working on these 20 sts only:
Next row Knit to the last 2 sts, k2tog. [19 sts]
Repeat the last row until there are 14 sts on the needle.
Next row K2tog, knit to the last 2 sts, k2tog. [12 sts]
Next row K2tog, knit to the last 2 sts, k2tog. [10 sts]
Cast off.
With the RS facing, re-join Yarn B to the remaining 21 sts.
Next row K2tog, knit to the end of the row. [20 sts]
Repeat the last row until there are 14 sts on the needle.
Next row K2tog, knit to the last 2 sts, k2tog. [12 sts]
Next row K2tog, knit to the last 2 sts, k2tog. [10 sts]
Cast off.
MAKING UP
Join the remaining shoulder seam to match the first shoulder. Join the neckband. Place markers 20 (21.5: 23: 24.5: 25.5: 27: 28.5:30)cm down from the shoulder seam on the Front and Back to indicate the Sleeve placement. Fold the Sleeves in half and with right sides together, pin to the sides of the Front and Back, with the centre of the Sleeve at the shoulder seam, and the Sleeve edges at the markers. Sew the top edge of the Sleeves to the Front and Back of the jumper. Sew the Sleeve seam. Sew the Front to the Back.
Neaten all ends. Neaten all ends of the Heart. Using a matching sewing thread, sew the Heart to the front of the jumper; placing it about 25 rows up from the beginning of the st st section. Block gently to measurements, following any yarn care instructions on the ball band.
