NEEDLES AND TOOLS
⦁ 6.50 mm knitting needles
⦁ 7.00 mm knitting needles
⦁ 8.00 mm circular needle
⦁ 1 stitch holder

MEASUREMENTS
To fit bust: 80, 90, 100, 110cm Finished fit: 90, 96, 108, 119cm Garment length: 53, 55, 57, 59cm Sleeve length: 48, 48, 48, 48cm
TENSION
13.5 sts by 18 rows over St st on 7.00mm needles to 10cm.
WORKING PATTERN BACK
Using 7.00mm needles, cast on 62 (66, 74, 82) sts.
Row 1: RS – K2, *P2, K2; rep from
⦁ to end.
Row 2: WS – P2, *K2, P2; rep from
⦁ to end.
Rep last 2 rows twice. 6 rows 2×2 rib. Now working in St st throughout, work until length (incl band) measures 35 (36, 37, 38) cm (Version 1) or 45 ^
(46, 47, 48) cm (Version 2), ending on a WS row.

Shape Raglan Armholes Next Row: RS – Cast off 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows. 56 (60, 68, 76) sts. Next Row: RS dec – K2, K2tog, K to last 4 sts, K2tog tbl, K2.

Dec 2 sts as set on foil alt rows, 14 (1 5, 16, 17) times.
Next Row: WS – Purl.
Cast off rem 26 (28, 34, 40) sts. 32 (34, 36, 38) raglan armhole-shaping rows.

FRONT

Work as for back to **.
Dec 2 sts as set on foil alt rows,
9 (10, 11, 1 2) times. 36 (38, 44, 50) sts, 21 (23, 25, 27) shaping rows. Next Row: WS – Purl.
Shape Left Front Neck and Armhole Next Row: RS – K2, K2tog, K7, turn, leave rem 25 (27, 33, 39) sts on a holder. Work each side of neck separately.
Next Row: WS – Cast off 2 sts (neck edge), P to end.
Next Row: RS – K2, K2tog, K to end. Next Row: WS – Cast off 2 sts, P to end.

Change to 7.00mm needles.

Shape Sleeves
Next Row: RS inc – Working in St st throughout, inc 1 st at each end of foil 10th (9th, 9th, 8th) rows, 6 (7, 7, 8) times. 46 (48, 52, 54) sts, 60 (63, 63, 64) shaping rows.
Cont working straight until length (incl band) measures 48cm (or length desired), ending on a WS row.
Shape Raglan
Next Row: RS – Cast off 3 sts at beg next 2 rows.
Next Row: RS dec – K2, K2tog, K to last 4 sts, K2tog tbl, K2.
This row sets patt for dec.
Dec 2 sts as set on foil alt rows,
12 (13, 14, 15) times. 14 (14, 16,
1 6) sts.

Left Sleeve Only
Next Row: WS – Cast off 4 (4, 5, 5) sts, P to end.
Next Row: RS – K2, K2tog, K to end. Next Row: WS – Cast off 4 (4, 5, 5) sts, P to end.
Next Row: RS – K2, K2tog, K to end. Cast off rem 4 sts.
Right Sleeve Only Next Row: WS – Purl.
Next Row: RS – Cast off 4 (4, 5, 5) sts, K to last 4 sts, K2tog tbl, K2.
Next Row: WS – Purl.
Next Row: RS – Cast off 4 (4, 5, 5) sts, K to last 4 sts, K2tog tbl, K2.
Cast off rem 4 sts.

MAKING UP
Press all pieces (except ribs) gently on WS using a warm iron over a damp cloth. Using edge-to-edge st join raglan seams, making sure to join left and right sleeves correctly, as raglan top shaping forms part of neckband. Join side and sleeve seams.

NECKBAND
With RS facing, using 8.00mm circular needle, pick up 36 (38, 44, 50) sts across back neck, 16 (16, 18, 18) sts across left raglan, 10 sts down left front neck, 20 (22, 28, 30) sts across centre front neck, 10 sts up right front neck, and 16 (16, 18, 18) sts across right raglan. 108 (112, 128, 136) sts. Round 1: WS – *K2, P2; rep from * to end.
Rep this round until neckband measures 20cm. Cast off in rib. Press seams
