MAKING UP
To seam rev st st pieces, insert the tapestry needle under one of the bumps on one side, then insert the needle under one of the corresponding bumps on the other side, pull yarn through, repeat.
HEAD
Sew the row edges tog; this seam runs down centre underside. Stuff the head through the cast-on end and gather cast-on sts tog. With Yarn B, embroider a triangle shaped nose on top of muzzle with several layers. Sew on the buttons for eyes over the last rows of rev st st using photograph as a guide.
EARS
Shape the piece so that the cast-on edge curls over with the rev st st side at the back, and sew the side edge onto the top back of the Head.
BODY
Sew the row edges tog; this seam runs down the centre back. Add stuffing. Gather the cast-on sts tog at bottom end. Sew the Head onto the Body, catching a stitch on the cast-off edge of the Body to the underside of the rev st st Head all the way round.

FRONT LEGS
Sew the side edges tog starting at the cast-off end and finishing at the marked sts on Row 12 and remove the markers. Add stuffing. Sew cast-on end and open side edges of each Leg onto the front of the Body, catching a stitch on the Leg to a stitch on the Body all the way round. Pin sole to cast-off end of Leg with the cast-on edge at the bottom and cast-off end at the top. Sew the sole onto the cast-off edge of the Leg. With Yarn B, embroider 3 long stitches on each foot for claws.
BACK LEGS
Make up as for the Front Legs, but attach each Leg to the side of the Body.
TAIL
Sew the row edges tog, add a little stuffing, and sew onto the bottom back of the Body.
SCARF
Weave in yarn tails and tie around bear’s neck, securing with a few stitches if desired
