Materials
• Berroco Elba (worsted weight; 100% cotton; 137 yds/50g per ball): 5 balls each damselfish
#7707 (A) and picarel #7735 (B) • Size 7 (4.5mm) needles or size needed to  obtain gauge

Gauge
21 sts and 36 rows = 4 inches/10cm in Ripple pat (blocked).
To save time, take time to check gauge.

Special Abbreviation
Double yarn over (2yo): Yarn over twice.
Pattern Stitch
Ripple (multiple of 12 sts + 3)
Rows 1 (WS)–3: With A, knit.
Row 4 (RS): K3, *[yo, k1] 3 times, [2yo, k1] 3 times, [yo, k1] 3 times, k3; rep from * across.
Row 5: Knit, dropping all yo’s.
Rows 6 and 7: Knit.
Rows 8–11: Change to B; knit.
Row 12: K9, *[yo, k1] 3 times, [2yo, k1] 3 times, [yo, k1] 3 times, k3; rep from * to last 6 sts, k6.
Row 13: Knit, dropping all yo’s.
Rows 14 and 15: Knit.
Row 16: Change to A; knit.
Rep Rows 1–16 for pat.

Designer’s TIP: Carry color not in use loosely up side of piece, twisting yarns at beginning of each right-side row.

With A, cast on 99 sts. Work 31 reps of 16-row Ripple pat. With A, work Rows 1–7.
Bind off.
Finishing
Weave in ends. Block to measurements.
